USGBC Announces 12000th LEED Certified Bldg

The US Green Building Council (USGBC) has certified its 12,000th project through the LEED Green Building Program. Since its launch in 2000, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program has transformed the way built environments are designed, constructed, operated and maintained.

?Twelve years after the first 12 projects earned LEED certification, the green building community has reached a significant milestone,? said Rick Fedrizzi?
