Uni & Mussels Spaghetti @ HIWA Fusion

I don?t typically blog about one dish in particular, but this definitely deserves its on post. I recently visited HIWA Fusion in Cerritos. It?s in a big plaza and not in a city that I typically frequent. I met up some friends for Taco Tuesday since I had to be in the area right after that. I had seen pictures on Facebook and Yelp about this particular dish and have always wanted to try it. First of all, I LOVE uni. Like absolutely LOOOVE it. Esp when it?s fresh out of the sea urchin shell. ZOMG! It?s crazy to think that I didn?t really like it too much a few years ago but after eating it several times it just started really growing on me and now I salivate over it. HIWA mixes the uni in with the pasta and they are very generous with it. You can taste the uni in every single bite. Secondly, I also like seafood. Thirdly, I like pastas. Lastly, I enjoy spicy dishes. Luckily for me, this dish has all four components! Uni, tons of seafood, spaghetti and a nice kick to it. This dish bursts with textures and flavors. So? if you happen to share my same love for all those things I mentioned, definitely head over to HIWA and try out their Uni Seafood Pasta.
