recovery of CAD and VSD Visio files after emptying the recycle bin
Did you know that the Windows recycle bin is really just a folder? When you delete a file, it simply goes into the Windows recycle bin where it sits until you empty the folder out. Once emptied though, things can change dramatically and quickly. The file that was simply in a folder is now marked for deletion within the file system in a part called the bitmap. This bitmap holds the key to success or failure.
The bitmap is a file that determines if the space where a file sits is available for over-writing. When a file is deleted Windows will make the space available to other files on your hard drive. This means that once you delete a file, there is potential for that deleted file to get damaged quickly. Every file name has a link on the hard drive and is stored in the Master File Table (MFT). This is only true if you are using the ?windows? file system of course. Mac, UNIX, Linux operating systems use their own partition types and that is outside the scope of this blog.
Many undelete programs simply take a look through the MFT to determine if the file still exists. If it sees that it was marked to be erased but hasn?t happened yet there is a pretty good great possibility for recovery. This is one reason why you should never use data recovery software and restore files back to the original hard drive. Doing so can ensure your files get over written and are gone for good. They should be restored to another device that is NOT the same.
Do you need data recovery for missing files? The best policy is to shut off your computer and find a data recovery expert to help you. TechRx offers data recovery for deleted files and can help you locate the missing link. We also have capability to repair certain files with corruption too.
TechRx Inc. offers logical data recovery for missing files and can get your pictures, photos, and documents recovered. We can also find fragments of documents such as Word documents too. Certain files need to be 100% correct to work though. This includes program files, or images, and videos, Visio files and even AutoCad files called DWG. If you do not recover the entire file it may be junk. On the other hand, a large Word document might have enough information remaining to be useful.
Do you want our help? Call us ? Hey TechRx! We will recover your data quickly and send your files back to you electronically through our secure file transport. Alternatively, if you decide to recover files yourself please read and understand the instructions that accompany the software.
